Conner Penske
Conner is a main character in the Prime Video series, The Peripheral. He is portrayed by Eli Goree. Conner is a good friend of Burton Fisher.
Conner grew up with Fishers, enlisting with his best bud Burton and returning a triple amputee. He seeks escape from chronic pain by drowning his bitterness in a bottle. Still a wry and lethal wingman, and given the proper chance, ready to become the hero he is fated to be.
Biography
Little is known about Conner's prior history, other than he fought as a Marine alongside Burton Fisher and several other men in the Texas Outback War, 2028. Whilst on the battlefield, Conner and the others watched as a dog cried in distress, caught in barbed wire in the near distance. Despite Burton's warnings, Conner tried to free the dog, before realising that it was stuffed with explosives rigged to detonate at any moment — a trait that the Research Institute knew enemies used to lure out soldiers into the open. This resulted in the loss of both Conner's legs and one of his arms[1].
